Diablo 3 coming soon…

If you go to the Blizzard website, the landing page is a splash screen with ice surrounding some space. While many will postulate the announcement of Diablo 3. We really hope that it will be Diablo 3.

Previously was Starcraft II and Wrath of the Lich King. Now it’s either Warcraft 4 or Diablo 3.

Since Warcraft III was released later than Diablo 2 and Starcraft have the sequel already, Diablo sequel is most probably the prize of this announcement.

Let’s hope for Diablo 3!

Word of the Year: w00t

It is always fun to see how gaming has make the world evolve in one way.

w00t has became the Merriam-Webster’s Word of the Year 2007. w00t is used in gaming forum and conversations in games such as FPS game (Counter-Strike) and MMORPG (World of Warcraft). It is part of the l33t speak (’leet’ or ‘elite’) which people used to communicate with fellow gamers.

w00t means an expression of joy (with or without a reason, that’s how gamers live). It is also an acronym of “we own the other team”, which means triumph over the opposing team.

Gaming language has evolved through the decades, with MMORPG and online games. It is certainly a joy to enjoy the language we all ’speak’ (type?)
