Blizzard has released a new patch for Warcraft III, both the Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne.
The new version 1.21b patch allows players to play Warcraft III without CD. Cool! On top of this, there are 2 new maps.

- Player can now view frames per second using the “/fps” chat command.
FIXES
- Fixed a timing problem with the game on PCs with dual-core CPUs.
- Fixed a crash that could occur with the Frost Breath ability.
- Fixed a crash that could happen in multiplayer games.
- Fixed an exploit that could happen in multiplayer games.
Important Note on Patching for Mac Players: The file layout inside the
game folder is changed significantly by Patch 1.21. As a result, in order
to be able to install the Frozen Throne expansion from CD, you must
install Reign of Chaos first, then install Frozen Throne from CD, and then
patch to version 1.21, in that order. If you patch to v1.21 and then
attempt to install Frozen Throne after that, it will not install
correctly.

Blizzard has released a small patch bring World of Warcraft to version 2.3.3.
This patch contains several bugfixes and improvement to the loading time of NPCs and zoning, so you can enjoy WoW better!

IceFrog has released the latest DotA Allstars map, version 6.48, with the following changelog.
* Added a new hero from the Model-To-Hero contest (see below)
* Added a new ability for Animal Courier to change its model.
* Fixed Planeswalker’s Cloak and Hood of Defiance stacking issues on various heroes’ innate magic resistance abilities.
* Fixed an old rare bug with Leshrac (and recently Storm) that would cause them to constantly drain mana.
* Fixed a bug when killing heroes with Crow
* Fixed Flesh Heap to work properly with suicides
* Fixed a bug in -dm -nd that causes the hero after Bristleback to have Warpath if Bristleback dies with the buff on, and the player quickly picks a new hero.
* Fixed the game mode text to display in proper order
* Fixed Starfall doing extra damage on the second hit
* Restored Freeze Hero functionality
* Added a command -test to enable single player commands to be usable in multiplayer for easier extensive testing
* Added new command ‘-terrain snow’. This transforms the current terrain into a snow terrain. This is a very experimental mechanism and is still very much a WIP in the visuals department.

The World Cyber Games Asian Championship 2007 is hosted by Singapore this year. 12 countries are involved in this year’s event from 2nd August to 5th August.
The official games for WCG Asian Championship 2007 are Dead of Alive 4 (Xbox 360), FIFA 07, Warcraft III : Frozen Throne, Age of Empires III : The War Chiefs and the popular map mods of Warcraft, Defense of the Ancient (DotA).
Last year, Singapore crowned the top country with 2 golds and 2 bronzes medal, ahead of China (1 gold, 3 silvers). We will look forward to this year WCG, to see how the gamers of each country fare this year.
When you think that Starcraft II makes gamers around the world waiting in awe, there is more excitement from one of the best game developer around.
Blizzard has currently 3 teams working on the projects, 135 people are working on World of Warcraft, 40 for Starcraft II and another 40 working under “Team 3″. Frank Pearce, founding member and senior vice president of product development for Blizzard revealed that “Team 3 is working on something really awesome.”
With BlizzCon coming in a few weeks’ time, announcements of new gaming development may come by then.
In the meantime, we can only anticipate the possibilities of the new game.
Since the team is made up of 40 members, we cannot expect it to be a MMORPG like World of Warcraft, which need more people in maintaining and developing the game. So World of Starcraft, etc are out.
Diablo II : Lord of Destruction was released in the year 2001 and Warcraft III : Frozen Throne was released in the year 2003. Expansions sound impossible for this 2 games, as they are quite old (but still good).
Diablo III and Warcraft IV might be the next upcoming sequel to their famous gaming series. However we cannot rule out Blizzard might be coming up with new games.
